It Take Balls To Be A Woman

By Malose Wa Ga Lamola

Women in sports are subjected to all kinds of discrimination but abuse has to be the most unbearable of them all. Emotional abuse runs deep like still water.

Apart from the partriarchal system womem uphold on a daily basis, they are on the bottom rung. Men are egotistical, this patriarchal social system is a product of the male ego.

Perhaps it only existed in my fantasy world where people are judged on merit rather than their sexuality. Excellence knows no gender and so should judgement. Men should learn not to nurse their egos in the expense of women.

Number one women's ranked national team in the world, united States of America, is still on the battle field over an equal gender salaries. With four FIFA Women's World Cup titles under their belt, US Women footballers should be earning fat salaries like their male counterparts.

US Women's Soccer National Team (USWNT) took the Federation to the US district court of law seeking the rule of law to intervene on allegations of gender discrimination. If a country with a stable professional women's soccer league can weep over gender discrimination, what about countries like South Africa with only a semi professional women's league?

What is the reason behind a learned, Judge R. Gary Klausner of Federal District Court in Los Angeles, to disagree and rejects the players’ claims that they were paid unfairly remains a pondering question. The USWNT has vowed to fight tooth and nail to win this battle. The federation should bring its kit manicure to the courtroom because I swear you rather see God himself than to win an argument against a fuming woman.

The ball is in the FA's quart but don't you confuse your ball with ladies balls. They want theirs on the pitch. Though they won't pitch with balls in the court room I can assure you they have some. They kick balls for a living after all.

Ironically US RNB Singer, Beyoncè, foresaw this before hand. 'Who runs the world' hit wasn't rhetoric after all. Indeed 'Girls'* run the world. On the very same song, Bey, insisted that 'My persuasion can unite the world'. Her compatriots are about to unite the world.

Women suppression is as old as hills and belongs in the museums. Despite their less muscle bodies, women can stand testosterone fueled males. Deep voices are not tickets to bully women. Your ripped biceps must be of women security than that of intimidation.

Women are told what not to do and how not to do what they aren't supposed to do. They are told how not to sit. What not to wear.

Being a boy shouldn't be a privilege. Do not sit like a boy. Do not wear things that will remind boys that they have power over your body. Those are but some of unwritten many barriers women live by.

United States prides herself to be one of the best democratic nations in the world, but as people we describe ourselves as we wish to be and not as we are.

If money is the root of all evil then those who sit on their purses are devils.
