In his first appearance at he Afcon 2019, Lorch, proved to be a cut above the rest. Goals win matches but perfomance creates those goals. The speedy attacker brought elements that Bafana lacked in his absentia. Bafana did not pose any danger to the opponents in the group stages- with no attempts to rattle the opposition's net. The annointed Lorch was waiting on the sidelines to lead South Africa to the land of milk and honey.
