Ellis has been in three provinces, Free State, Kwa Zulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape, prior to her visit to the North West. SAFA NW Chairperson and National Executive Committee member, David Molwantwa, said Ellis visit to Potchefstroom encouraged the province to do even better. “It gives us a great pleasure as the SAFA NW to have to welcome the Senior Women’s National Team Head Coach to our province. This is a province of goodwill, surrounded by peace-loving people with talent in football. Tsunami Queens and IsaDI have provided details of the first collaborations with independent women's football clubs in South African football. Congratulations on your commendable victory against Libya. Percy Tau has led the team from the front. Tau's brace was adequate for Stuart Baxter's men to claim a 2-1 victory over a stubborn Libyan side at Tunis. The Royale Union Saint Gilloise star player continues to be in a fine form- as he emerged through the pack to seal the deal for Bafana. Baxter has qualified for two Afcon finals in his two stints with Bafana. The Brit first qualified for the 2006 Afcon finals coincidentally held in Egypt. The race to succeed Shakes Mashaba has been thrown wide open with Stuart Baxter's name now coming to the fore. He is now seems to be the main man to replace Mashaba at Nasrec. Shakes has failed dismally to take Bafana Bafana to the Afcon 2017. Bafana was supposed to qualify with a 100% record from an easy Group M with the likes of Gambia, Mauritania and Cameroon. One can argue that Cameroon is one of the African football powerhouses. This is not a Cameroon of yesteryear. By Herrold Lamola  (Lamola_eitcHDee) Sandton- Football officials, coaches, fans and friends gathered to pay their final respects to Theodore 'Ted' Dumitru at the Ellis Park Arena (Standard Bank Arena) in Johannesburg yesterday. Dumitru, who died last week, will be buried this weekend. Master Ted as he was affectionately known was born in Bucharest, Romania. He came to Africa in 1980 to lead Zambian National Team. Master Ted has helped the Zambian team qualify for the 1982 Africa Cup of Nations. Master Ted joined South African giants, Kaizer Chiefs, in 1985 to take over the coaching reins. Dumitru and football development were match made in heaven.  His contribution towards football development in the country began in 1982 when he established the Chibuku Youth Centre at Orlando Stadium in Soweto.
