Sundowns mentor, Pitso Mosimane, has said that Pirates is the only team in the Premier Soccer League [PSL] that can match his side pound for pound. Though when Sundowns hosted Pirates in the first leg at Loftus Versfield- they played to a goalless draw- but usually there is a feast of goals in this encounter. This is not a derby match but it is the closest rivalry to the derby. John Comitis confirmed the Mpumalanga Black Aces take over. By Herrold Lamola (@Lamola_eitcHDee) John Comitis has confirmed his takeover of the Mpumalanga based outfit, Mpumalanga Black Aces, and he is planning to relocate the club to the Mother City. According to, Comitis, the Premier Soccer League (PSL) has sanctioned the deal. Comitis is the member of the PSL executive committee and the founding member of Ajax Cape Town. Comitis told IOL "Yes, I have purchased the club (Black Aces). There are no final decisions yet as to what I will do. I have much to consider and will only do so on my return to the country. The PSL has already sanctioned the deal." Amazayoni have performed way beyond expectations under the tutelage of former Urban Warriors boss Mushin Ertugral, finishing fourth in the Premiership standings, but their financial struggles have been evident.
