Even the mighty can fall

The Special One will be forced to tinker with his squad ahead of tonight's clash against the high flying Tottenham Hotspur.
The partnership of Eric Baily and Victor Lindelof has looked a bit shaky. Mourinho has options in his squad should he opt against playing the duo.
The duo have to be at their best in order to keep Spurs’ lethal attack at bay.
United fans questioned Mourinho's tactics in the season opener against Leicester City.
Though Mourinho has depth in his squad - Spurs poses a threat to the once mighty United. Unlike Leicester City that didn't capitalise on United's blunders, Spurs present a much more lethal threat.
With the visitors’ attack led by Harry Kane, Mourinho is therefore forced to tinker with his shaky defence. One needs not read too much into the stats - Although the numbers never lie.
Spurs look sharper to defy the cynical adage. Numbers are in favour of United but their recent displays will not work in their favour. United has 33 victories over the Londoners - compared to a mere eight for Spurs.
The two sides had a contrasting start to the current campaing - with Spurs claiming victories over Newcastle United and Fulham respectively.
Manchester United has a win and defeat under their belt after suffering a 3-2 loss at Brighton following a 2-1 victory against Leicester City in the opening game of the season.
Mourinho's feud with Paul Pogba has been put to bed after Pogba was given the captain’s armband for the opening games.
It is crystal clear that the rumour that has been making rounds in the media circles is now water under the bridge.
Unlike Mourinho's side that has been in the lime light, Mauricio Pochettino's team has had a fair share of good publicity.
His side is in good spirit and has begun the new season on a good note after accumulating maximum points from their opening two games. The Londoners will be looking to keep their momentum going at the expense of United.
